Terms

Cairn terms overview

Basic early-access terms for using Cairn, joining the waitlist, recording responsibly, and reviewing AI outputs.

Acceptance and service description

By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using Cairn, users agree to follow these terms. Cairn provides recording, transcription, project memory, AI chat, report generation, todo and calendar assistance, and related workflow tools.

Early access status

Cairn may be in waitlist, beta, or early access. Features may change, break, be limited, or be removed. Access may be limited by invitation, region, plan, or technical capacity. Pricing and usage limits may change before launch.

User responsibilities

Users are responsible for having the right to record conversations, upload files, and process content. Users must obtain consent where legally required and must comply with recording, privacy, employment, healthcare, client-confidentiality, and other applicable laws. Cairn does not decide whether a recording is legal or permitted.

Professional use disclaimer

Cairn is not a substitute for professional judgment. AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users must review transcripts, notes, reports, todos, calendar items, and recommendations before relying on them, especially in clinical, legal, financial, inspection, regulated, or client-facing work.

Accounts, billing, and acceptable use

Some features may require an account. Paid plans may be processed through Razorpay or another payment provider. Users may not use Cairn for illegal surveillance, uploading content they have no right to process, reverse engineering, abuse, scraping, overloading, attacking the service, or generating harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content.

Intellectual property

Users retain rights to their uploaded content. Cairn owns the app, brand, design, code, and service. Users grant Cairn and its service providers the limited rights needed to operate the features they request.

Liability and contact

During early access, Cairn is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. Cairn should not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, or decisions made from unreviewed AI output where such limits are legally permitted. Legal questions can be sent to legal@cairn.prepx.space.
